NAVANTIA, a Spanish shipbuilding company, was commissioned by the Australian Navy to manufacture two logistical vessels, named ADELAIDE and CANBERRA, replicating the design of the BPE JUAN CARLOS I. The vessels, referred to as ALHD1 and ALHD2, were constructed at the Ferrol shipyard. WindWaves collaborated with NAVANTIA as a subcontractor, contributing to over 60% of the block manufacturing for the ships. Additionally, they undertook pipe and armament work, investing over 2,000,000 hours of labor.
