Construction of 62 jackets, fixed foundations to support 8 MW offshore wind turbines for the St. Brieuc wind farm in France, contracted by Ailes Marines to Navantia. WindWaves participates as the main subcontractor of Navantia. The project was developed jointly between the facilities of Navantia Fene and the port of Brest, where Navantia has a large assembly area concessioned.
Nervion Naval Ofshore was in charge of:
- Carrying out the entire construction strategy of the project
- Coordinating all logistics, reception, and material control
- Developing all assembly, welding, dimensional control, NDT, and painting procedures for the jackets
- Assembly of the lattice structure of all jackets
- Prefabrication and assembly of all secondary structure
- Coordination and control of the entire French and Spanish supply chain collaborating with Nervion Naval Offshore on the project
- Scaffolding and painting of all structures
- Quality control of the entire project
