Construction of 6 jackets, fixed foundations to support 8 MW offshore wind turbines that are part of the Greater Changhua 1 offshore wind farm that ORSTED is developing in Taiwan.
WindWaves participates as a subcontractor of SDMS. It carries out advisory, supervision, and manufacturing works of primary and secondary structures.
The works carried out by WindWaves consist of:
- Advisory and preparation of work procedures
- Preparation of WPS and WPQR for welding of pipes and transition pieces
- Project progress tracking and control
- Supervision of local supply chain
- Advisory on shipyard preparation for this project
- Welding works for secondary structure and part of complex joints of primary structure
